I am Otto, the guy behind this site.

And you know, what started out as a single page, is slowly becoming the go-to-site when it comes to high definition projection.

Initially, I just got annoyed about people calling their projection screens “HD projection screens”. Because there’s no such thing. And there’s enough confusion about HD already.

High definition is a huge step forward for projection, because it allows so much more detail on the big screen. It’s really possible to have a commercial-grade theater in your own home. For not that much money.

That’s why there’s no need to mislead people by telling a projector screen is an HD one. A good screen can make a massive difference though. And you can learn here how to find the right one.
